Hi, I’m Carol
I am a musician, and I love God. As a teenager, I began playing the piano by ear for my church, because we didn't have a dependable musician. I was terrible...I only knew 3 chords, had a hard time learning new songs, all my songs sounded the same, and I was boring. To make matters worse, I couldn't find anyone who was able AND willing to show me how to improve. I enrolled in traditional piano lessons, but was still unable to reach my goals of being able to play gospel piano and get the sound that the pros have. Then I came across music theory and the number system. My playing exploded, and FAST! I finally cracked the secrets of playing gospel piano by ear. Now, I serve as the pianist/organist for Faith Deliverance COGIC in Norfolk, Virginia.
I don't want anyone to have to struggle with learning gospel piano the way that I did, so I'm teaching all the secrets that I learned! I'm equipping musicians with the skill set and mindset needed to learn to play gospel piano by ear.
